Historic

Founded in 1921 by Jean-Baptiste Côté, J.B. Côté & Fils Ltée Funeral Home is trusted to provide professional quality services to families that require assistance.

From its beginnings, the firm has been handed down from father to son over an 80-year period, with Paul-Émile Côté assuming the leadership role, and in turn his son Charles Côté.

In January of 2001, André Valcourt, thanatologist and owner of the Valcourt Funeral Home Inc. in St-Quentin, New Brunswick, purchased the firm J.B. Côté & Fils Ltée. Mr. Valcourt wisely invested in the most modern material and equipment in order to offer a better service to families dealing with bereavement.

J.B. Côté & Fils Ltée Funeral Home is an important part of Edmundston's history, and we are proud of this affiliation. J.B. Côté & Fils Ltée is a prestigious firm that for the past 87 years has built a reputation based on dignity, discretion, and quality services.
