Dear Peter, we got to know you over the past ten years from meeting you in person and then the occasional emails. Now, learning about your late father's character and impact on others, we have a stronger picture of your warmth and dedication in your vocation. Please accept our sympathy. Nos sincères condoléances à toute la famille.

I am a friend of Fr Peter Bisson, S.J., and I have recently heard of his father's passing into the spirit world. Charles' journey of life continues and his presence is still with all those who loved him in this life. I will be praying for him this Sunday at my online mass for St Basil's Parish in Ottawa. May Charles be experiencing God's peace and light and my our loving God fill all of you who miss him with consolation and peace. Fr Daryold Winkler, pastor, St Basil's Parish, Ottawa

Our deepest sympathy to the family. My early encounters with him were at the old Post Office where he was always friendly; jovial and liked to tease us kids. I remember seeing him later walking with a limp (late '40's ) and dad telling me it was a war wound and that he was a hero. That is the way I saw him afterward.. An honour to have known him.

Mr. Bison always had a nice smile on his face, always a pleasure to see him. Was always grateful that he would let us warm up in our beautiful post office on our long walk to school.
Sincere Condolences to all the family.

Our sincere sympathies to the families. We've known Mr. Bisson for a good number of years. We had great respect and admiration for this warrior. I enjoyed having a chat with him around Armistice Day. It was always a pleasure to go see him and thank him for his services during World War 2.
Also, I did not forget the many years I used to pick up the mail at the post office at the corner of Canada and Church where he and the others were hiding behind a wired screen. It was kind of scary. Rest in peace dear soldier (Mr. Bisson), you are a hero to us.

Please accept our sincere sympathy. Mr. Bisson room was right next to my Dad’s and we used to bring him some chocolats and candy. He would be so happy to see us even after my Dad passed away, we would go visit him every Sunday while visiting my Mom. He would call me Diane every time (Albert Pelletier wife), it was so funny when he did. I am going to miss him very much. He will watch on all of you. Our prayers are with all his family.
