Langdon, Denise

1953-2024

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Denise Langdon (née Levert), Saturday, June 1st, 2024,  Edmundston Regional Hospital, at the age of 71 years.  She is originally from Sudbury, Ontario but spent her final years surrounded by the beauty of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in New Brunswick.

Daughter of the late Rheal Levert and the late Therese Levert (née Emond). Loving wife of 49-years to Raymond Langdon (Predeceased). Dear mother of Kirk (Diane), Steve (Josie), Jean Raymond (Angela), Angele (James) and Paul. Predeceased by her children Danny and Monique. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Justin, Siera, Daniel & Jacob as well as by her many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her brothers and sister Michel (Denise), Gaetan, Francine (Norm) and predeceased by her brothers and sister Aurele, Lise, Donald, Claude and Rejean.

Denise was a mother, wife, sister and cousin.  She had a heart full of compassion and generosity. Denise loved with her whole heart. She was a best friend who put the needs of others ahead of her own. Her presence will be missed tremendously, but we will be comforted in knowing that she is at peace resting with her loved ones.

Denise passed peacefully after a brief battle with kidney failure. The family will be eternally grateful for the wonderful care and compassion shown by the doctors, nurses and staff at the Edmundston Regional Hospital.

There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at 10 AM at Paroisse Ste-Marguerite d'Youville, 4290 Old Hwy 69, Val Therese, ON.  Reception to follow in Coniston.

In her memory, donations can be made to the Edmundston Regional Hospital Foundation.

I knew Denise briefly. I know her through her daughter, Angele. She loved commenting on my cat pictures and videos. I could tell she was a compassionate person. I remember she made cookies one time too, but I mostly see her as loving person whose smile was infectious. I will do a prayer service with my friend for her, and I am deeply heartbroken about her passing.

Mom. My heart and mind cannot comprehend life here without you. I’m so broken hearted but believe you are with dad now. I know you both are with me in spirit. Love you sooo much.
