À l'Hôpital régional d'Edmundston,
le 28 septembre 2024,
à l’âge de 86 ans et 7 mois,
nous a quittés M. Tayfun Orkus.
Il était le père de
Taylin et Tasmin Orkus
et le fils de feu Nijat Orkus
et de feu Hikmet (Elizabeth) Orkus.
Il demeurait à Fredericton et Edmundston,
mais était d'origine turque et française.

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital,
September 28, 2024,
at the age of 86 years and 7 months,
passed away Mr. Tayfun Orkus.
He was the proud father of
Taylin and Tasmin Orkus,
and the son of the late Nijat Orkus
and the late Hikmet (Elizabeth) Orkus.
He was living in Fredericton and Edmundston,
but was of Turkish and French descent.

I met Mr. Tayfun in 2010. I was honored to have known him. I last spoke to him via Skype in August 2023 while I was traveling in America. After that, despite all my attempts to contact him, I lost touch with him and was very saddened. Unfortunately, I anticipated this tragic end, and I was deeply saddened again upon seeing this obituary. I couldn't contact any of his relatives because I don't have their contact information.
