My memories of Mrs. Tam are fond ones, and I am saddened that she has passed on from our midst. I fondly remember her kindness, friendliness, warmth, and appreciation that she showed to her customers. You weren't a stranger for long, when you entered Tam's restaurant, for an EXCELLENT, DELICIOUS, meal. Her memory was sharp as a tack, and she neither forgot a face, nor the things that her intelligent mind learned in conversing with that face. She was a perfect fit for the business, as the excellent food she served, in tandem with her welcoming presence, made dining at Tam's a joyful experience. Happy are the many times that I would order two meals for delivery at the Fraser Madawaska mill for my noon meal, during my peak lifting years. Mrs. Tam loved to see a happy and satisfied customer, and believe me , I was both ! My heart goes out to you, Bob, and to all family members and friends, at this time, following the departure of a remarkable lady. She was a Genuine Article. THE REAL DEAL!! Please accept my sincere and profound condolences. May the memory of this sweet and unique lady make your hearts to smile, as it does mine.
